TALK TO GOD

He (GOD) gives power to the faint

and to them who have no might

He increases strength (Is 40:29)

There remains, therefore a rest

to the people of God! (Heb 4:9)

They who wait on the Lord

shall renew their strength

they shall mount up like wings of eagles

they shall run and not be weary 

walk and not faint. (Is 40:31)

When you feel you can do no more- talk to God!

When life has taken a toll and you feel week- and want a change

Talk to God!

I live by these scriptures!  When I am weak, according to scripture, I am made strong IN CHRIST.
When I want to give up- or feel faint (running out of gas)  I go to my maker- - where my help comes from!

He told me to WAIT on Him. This means: FIRST, in my faith (weary or not) in my faith, I need to go- lay my burden down.  Lay down what is zapping me of my strength, lay down what is making me faint...  and talk to God, and wait for, hope for, and expect my God to come to my rescue!  He will help me, scripture says so!  He is a very present help in times of trouble. When I feel like I was hit with a Mac-Truck, here comes my Good Samaritan to sooth my wounds.  When I am too weak to take another step because I am faint with hunger, here comes Jesus to feed me on the mountain, with the others just like me!

He makes it that I can run and never get tired or faint from weakness!  God will renew us as we ask Him too!  God will take the burden, as we take His yoke upon us and learn of Him!  

Jesus doesn't have any burdens, have you noticed???
Jesus was never weary or weak either!

But one thing I did notice, Jesus was always in communication with His Father.  He was always praying to Him.  Always in communion, renewing His strength.  Jesus was our PERFECT example of what "waiting on God" was.

This is what we have to do.  It is a MUST in the time we live in! There is too much world trying to invade our space.  Too much life trying to suck us dry!

We have a Christ, a Savior the Anointed, who SAVES and regenerates us.  He renews our mind, He feeds our spirit man, He makes us strong IN Him.  Let us not be weary, of well doing, but in due season we shall reap-- if we faint not. 

We can do this!  Especially if we purposely choose to make God the center of our life.   

In my life, GOD comes FIRST.  Before my household, my family, myself- it is God.  He gives me LIFE.  He IS Life!  He gives me strength, He IS Strength!  

In all my things, God is!  He is first, foremost, and center.  This is truth.  
Let me tell you a little secret that will help your life.

Talk to God!  Be honest with Him.  Let's do it now!

Thank You Father that you are God.  God First, God Only.  You are our strength, our fuel when we feel our tank is on empty.  You are our words- Holy Spirit, our truth, because you are Truth.  You renew us, and replenish us.  You empower us with YOU, the fullness of God.  And as we are in Your presence, we are filled with the fullness of Your joy, You say so!  Thank you that it says in your Word that I can do all things through Christ (never getting tired, weary, or faint) because YOU Jesus Christ are my strength! Hallelujah!  No matter what is going on in my life, spiritual or natural- YOU ARE HERE FOR ME,  all I have to do is call upon the name of the Lord who will save me.  Save me out of my every situation.  Being faint is NO PROBLEM for you, Abba!  

So here we are again with our Thank yous, and grateful heart wanting You to know that WE LOVE YOU ABBA, we appreciate you- and mostly THANK YOU for the STRENGTH You give out of Your bosom- to us, the ones who cry out to you.  You have never failed us.  You have never let us down and left us weary.  You have never let us lose the race.  In fact I can testify, YOU have shown me rest, as I rest and wait IN YOU!

We are a people who are called by Your name- waiting and hoping in our God.  A grateful people who at times stumble in our humanness.  We faint, and become weary.  But You are much greater than that!  Your thoughts toward us are like the sand, You are always thinking about your people!  We have angels encamped around us- per You!  Shoring us up.  We have Jesus sharing His rod and staff, bringing us comfort, Thank You.  Help us to GET THIS Lord.  We have rest on every side as we TALK TO GOD- communicate with you, as Jesus did.

You know our need before we have it, and You said You would supply our need.  We need to Talk to You all the time, not just before we are going to eat our food.  No, all the time!  We need to wait on You.  We need to abide in You.  We need to dwell in the Secret Place- with Abba, our Hope, our Peace, and our Rest.  Most of all, our Strength.

Lastly, our Strength comes from You that when the enemy comes in like a flood, we can be assured that God comes in with a vengeance- to destroy this enemy.  Our strength and help comes from the Lord, maker of heaven and earth.  As we submit, Abba does the rest so we can r e s t.

Renew us this day.  Renew us IN YOU.  Give us Your strength to keep moving.  Help us in our humanness to be MORE like YOU!  In Jesus name, I pray.
