Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later.
But CHRIST, as the SON, is in CHARGE of God’s entire house.
And, we are God’s house if we keep our courage and remain confident in our hope in Christ.
Heb 3: 5-6
ReplyDeleteYou hoped for rich harvests, but they were poor. And when you brought your harvest home, I blew it away. Why? Because my house lies in ruins, says the LORD of Heaven's Armies, while all of you are busy building your own fine house. Hag 1:9
You looked, you expected much. It amounted to little and came to nothing. You turned away in pursuit of abundance!
What you did manage to bring home, I blew it away.
Why? Because My HOUSE lies in ruins. It is desolate a wasteland. My house is deserted.
Because each of you have busied himself with his own house, building it fine. (Forgetting Me- emphasis mine)

Heb 3: 5-6
When Christ came from heaven- to purchase our lost sinful souls with the price of His life- To bring back life to Father God, in exchange… God was happy.
In the first scriptures Haggai states Father God’s distaste. He blew away with a puff- His displeasure of man’s “self” achievements. Man did not give all to God. What man gave was futile- it was little, and amounted to nothing. There wasn't any sacrifice on man’s part. Man was only interested in making MAN happy- forgetting God’s house (ourselves), and building our empire without God, in essence; forgetting our first love. Scripture says: the wages of sin is death. Death is wasteland, ruin, deserted of life.
Without LIFE- is death; NO Christ, NO Light, NO Life.
Praise God for John 3:16! For God so loved the world- us the sinner- that He gave His one and only Son (His beloved, begotten Son) that whosoever believes in Him (do you believe?, say it aloud: “I BELIEVE”) shall not perish ((THANK YOU JESUS)) but have everlasting life!!!
We whosoevers, the believers are promised eternal life. HOME WITH GOD- we are God’s house, because of Jesus!
I certainly don’t want to be wasteful with my time. There is a world full of lost out there who need Jesus. I don’t want to gather a little bit (to make God happy, or so I think) and it amounts to nothing, and is displeasing to God. Or even fall into the “Lord, Lord” category in Mat 7. And, I don’t want God to blow away with displeasure my work. I want this HOUSE to be in ORDER! I am ….WE ARE…about doing our Father’s business! We need to do it with the BEST that we have. Not our left overs- or even our do overs because our conscience bothers us, or without ulterior motives.
We need to be so aware of Giving God our Best in ALL we do-and say- for the glory of God, and His kingdom that God is PLEASED with us!
Jesus, help us now! We ask this in your precious name. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit to open our hearts and minds and speak to us, Abba. We are Your people! We are Your house!
Help us to be pure, and purposely have pure motives. Help us to be fruitful and faithful, not futile as we go about our Father’s business. Help our house (God’s house) to represent God in the fullest, in the fullness of God! We need you Jesus- bless our faith today. Bless us as we keep BUSY IN YOU- not in ourselves. In Jesus name we pray. Amen Jesus!!!
PSALM 127:1-2
ReplyDeleteUnless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain.
Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand and watch in vain.
In vain, you rise early, and stay up late, toiling for food to eat-
for HE (God) grants sleep to those He loves.
Please read these scriptures together Psa 127:1-2, Hag 1:9, and Hep 3:5-6
God is so good to us! He who has ears can hear!
Blessings.
