THANKSGIVING

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Colossians 3:17 KJV

When my kids were young, I tried to plant seeds into their little garden.  One of them was this scripture.

I’d tell them, “whatever you do, DO as unto the Lord.”  Whatever you hands touch, and, whatever words your mouth speak, do as unto the Lord.

Jesus gave His ALL for us, isn’t it our reasonable service to do unto others as you would have them do to you? To love your neighbor, as you love yourself?  All, in the name of God?  To walk your BEST walk in life, walking in step with God.  Making God proud of His child???  Yes!

Scripture states: “whatever you do”…  To me, this means, “everything you do.”  If I speak, speak as if I was speaking on behalf of my Father.

My deeds should reflect my Father to a world who needs Him just as much as I.

In addition, scripture states that we need to have a thankful heart.  Never forgetting His kindnesses, always remembering His goodnesses toward us.

He gave His all for us, and in return, we can give and do our best for Him.

Father, everything about me is Yours.  My life is yours.  In fact, my body is not my own, Your Word says.  It belongs to you.  My mind is Yours, my heart is Yours.  My deeds are a reflection of You, my Lord, in Jesus name. Help me as I remember You, and never to forget your new mercies to me every single morning.  Your blessings heaped upon me with even more blessings, Lord, I thank You!  Let my words reflect the Love You have toward me, as I minister to others.  Allow my deeds, be Yours, for I belong to You, Abba.

Help me never to forget to say, “thank you,” Lord.  You are a good, good Father, that’s who You are!  I love you, Lord, with all my heart, mind, soul and strength.

In Jesus name, I pray with thanksgiving.  Amen Jesus.

GOD OF LOVE....SAVE ME....

Hear my voice when I call, O LORD; be merciful to me and answer me. ... Do not hide your face from me, do not turn your servant away in anger; you have been my helper. Do not reject me or forsake me, O God my Savior. Though my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will receive me.
Psalm 27:7,9-10

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
1 Timothy 1:15 KJV

Ah Lord God, I am a sinner!  I have sinned against you many times over.  But, I am here to ask You to me merciful to me, again.  Thank you that Your eye is constantly on me.  Even when I sin, I know that You love me.  I sometimes fear that You will turn away from me in anger.  I am fearful that you will give up on me, even reject me.  So, I rely up on Your Word that tells me that YOU LOVE ME, and FORGIVE ME, and even, RECEIVE me, because I am of a broken, contrite heart.  I do not want to sin against You, my Lord.  I want to be completely free from sin.  I am so grateful for Your Son, Jesus.  Ah Lord God, Jesus, my Lord!  I have sinned against you, but am assured that LOVE took You to the cross for me, and the many sins that I have committed against You.  Forgive me, Jesus.  Thank you for Your blood that washes away the sin that easily besets me.  That Your blood cleanses and purges EVERY dead work in me.  That I can live a FREE life AWAY from sin and death as I accept You, love You, and appreciate You for dying in place for my sin and threw it in the sea of forgetfulness, as far as the east is from the west.  Have mercy, Lord Jesus. Teach me to walk only in Your direction, toward the Light.  Remove, I pray darkness from me.  Show me and lead me in the way of Everlasting, I pray.  Thank you for Your love that saves a sinner like me.

IN Jesus name I pray, Amen Jesus.

UNVEILED

And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. ………..2 Corinthians 3:18

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”   ………John 4:23-24

And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom;
and the earth shook and the rocks were split.   ……Mat 27:51

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.   …….Romans 12:1-2

Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. ……..1 John 3:2

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you.”    …..Is 60:1

“Then all the people said "Amen" and "Praise the LORD." …1 Chron 16:36

KEEPING IN STEP WITH GOD

So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
Galatians 5:16-17

LIVE by the Spirit.  Scripture says for us to keep in step with the Spirit!
Yes, keep in step with God.
IN Him, we are pure, just as our Father is pure.  Without Him, we are polluted.

What happens when we live and walk and keep in step with the Spirit of God?  Sin is not gratified!

You see, sin wants to be fed!  But if we walk by the Spirit of God, sin is starved.  Scripture states sin’s desires are contrary to the Spirit. (visa versa)  They do not walk hand in hand in harmony.  Quite the opposite!

They are enemies!  They are in constant conflict! They war against each other.  Sin wants you to….sin.  Sin is so subtle it wants you to be so entrenched, that you are in agreement and not realizing, oops, I am sinning.

Have you ever been so steeped in sin that you actually made excuses for it?  I have, sorry to say.  I had an answer to “why” I was doing it, but my answer was wrong!  Sin was being fed, and speaking on my behalf.

I stepped away from living by the Spirit, and chose sin instead.

But, I am so happy to say, God didn’t approve of this situation!  He stepped in and pulled me out of the miry clay, called sin.  He spoke words only to me, by the Spirit, through a pastor, that no one else heard, but my spirit.  God told me to turn around, stop my sin, and turn back to Him.  Truthfully, I didn’t obey that precious day He spoke, but, I listened, eventually, and am so glad I did.

For truth be made known, I hated the sin I was in.  I am ashamed to this day, for sinning against my Father, and with a thankful heart, so glad Jesus stepped in and shown me TRUTH of what this sin was doing.

It was warring with me- there was something in me spiritually, that preserved me.  ((Momma’s prayers? Grandma’s))  The Holy Spirit may of even prayed for me the words they didn’t know to pray, on my behalf.  Whatever it was, I am grateful that I listened!

Jesus, thank you for Salvation and Redemption.  Thank you for saving me out of this sin that wanted to consume me.  Thank you for putting a stop to it by saying NO to sin!  Thank you that in my nature, spirit, YOU…that I can walk and live by the Spirit and be free IN You.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen.

GOD OF PEACE....

In the multitude of my thoughts within me- thy comforts delight my soul.
Psalms 94:19 KJV

And let the peace of God rule in your hearts,
to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Colossians 3:15 KJV

How many are there who allow the “little” thoughts consume them?  A small problem can turn into a large one because of ‘over thinking’ a thing?

My hand is raised!  I tend to allow a multitude of thoughts consume me at times.  But, the scripture, and the Lord, wants something BETTER for us!

Scripture promises us peace!  Scripture promises us that if we are obedient and ‘doers’ of the Word and not ‘hearers’ only- we are favored with benefits, God’s benefits!

So Abba, in this scripture, I pray for Your peace to rule my heart.  I pray that the delight I have in You bring me comfort as promised.  Abba, I give you all my problems, and I give you all my thoughts, good, bad and promise to LOOK to You, the Author and Finisher of my faith.  Rule my heart, Lord.  Be the center.  Rule the whole heart.  Father, I give you myself.  I lay myself down in obedience, and trusting you to take over my thoughts, my problems, and with a thankful heart, I am grateful for Your peace that passes all understanding.  You told me to delight in you, commit my ways to you, and you will do it!

Take my “it” Lord, and move the mountains!  Take my “it” Lord, and bring me peace.  Allow your words to bring me comfort and peace.  Bless the body of Christ all around this earth,  blessing those who worship you in Spirit and in Truth.  Thank you that IN You, I live, move and have my being!  Thank you that nothing is impossible for you, not even my tiny little problems!  I believe, therefore, I shall receive and have ALL You have for me, Abba.  Thank you! Thank you for Your Spirit that lives in me.  Direct me today, and help me guard my heart and my mind, I pray in Jesus name.  Protect me by the power of your name, Abba.  Allow problems to move away from me, for I trust You to be my Provider, my Father, and my Help in times of trouble.  Nothing is to hard to them who believe.  I declare, right now, to you my Lord, I believe and trust in You, my Lord and my God.

Please take this prayer, and honor it with Your favor.  Rest upon me, now, Jesus and allow peace and Your rest to rest on every side of me.  I pray in Jesus name.

Amen Jesus!!!!

p.s. Thank you, Lord. :)

HIDING PLACE

KNOCK KNOCK

Here I am!
I stand at the door and knock.
If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
Revelation 3:20

God loves you so much.  I can see clearly Jesus knocking on the door.  Do you hear the knocking?  Did you invite Him to your home for dinner?

Will you keep Him waiting, our will you quickly open the door with a smile on your face and heart?

He is calling your name.  He is knocking at your door.  Won’t you answer?

He has something wonderful to share with you!

He wants to sit at your table.  Is it ready for Him?  Did you make Him a meal?
Will you let God go away- without sustenance?  hungry?  without company?

Jesus wants to come in!  Allow Him to grace you with His visit!  Allow Him to bless you so much, that you don’t want Him to leave.  Allow Him to speak to you with a voice and such words that you will never forget, never.

His voice is wonderful!  His call is inviting!  Run quickly to the door, do not allow any such delay.  Do not let it be too late, because it will be a decision that you will regret for eternity.

Eternity? did I say?  Yes, your very life depends upon you answering that door.

I beseech you, don’t let the Lord keep knocking, but answer to His call.

Do not delay.

***********

Jesus, I don’t know who this is for, but You will allow the right set of eyes to read it and be touched.  Touched enough to let their heart be pricked, and allow themselves to make the move to answer Your call, Lord.

I pray a special blessing to those who come to You, this day, and hear all You have to say to them, for it will be so wonderful, Lord.

Thank you for my visit, that day, and many days after.  You are a beautiful God, my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and I love you!

In Jesus name, I pray, Amen Jesus!
