....WHAT IS IN YOUR EYE???....

Luke 11:34, 36, 35

The lamp of the body is the eye.  

Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light. 

But when it is evil, your body also if full of darkness.

If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part of dark;

it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with it’s bright shining gives you light.

Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness.

Evidence! Proof! Light!

Is Christ IN you?

Is the Light IN you?

If your answer is YES then there can not be ANY darkness in you; at all.

I pray that you allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you.

Examine yourself- and Check yourself thoroughly- making sure there is NO darkness in you at all- n. o. n. e.

What consist of darkness in your eye?

In Proverbs it is pride. (Haughty eyes and a proud heart)

this person does not even consider himself in sin.

In Isaiah, they have shut their eyes.  They don’t care.

In Jeremiah the prophet considers these people foolish- and without understanding.

And, in 2 Corinthians it says the god of this world- the thief, the robber- the father of lies, has blinded them, blinded their minds.  They already don’t believe Christ- which is the first thing against them, but then comes the thief- the god of unrest- and blinds their minds so that they can not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ- which is the image of God.

Whose fault is it? the devil? God?  

No, the unbeliever first-  Remember, we have a choice to believe in God, and in His Son.  When we don’t BELIEVE, we open a door.  It is an open invitation to satan himself to woo you with his lies.  He will blindside you with all of them.  

The atheist are so blindsided- and so convinced with lie upon lie- his mind is made up, and it is so sad- because there isn’t any light there.  They are so trapped in their own lies and deception they have no room in their hearts for God.  They shut their door so tight, not even a speck of light can squeak in.  All by their choice.  No light-  

PRAISE GOD, there is a FLIP SIDE!

To the BELIEVER- we have abundance of Light!  

Jesus Christ Himself!  He fills us up- completely!  This is why the bible says friends with the world is enmity with God. They just don’t mix, just as light and darkness don’t mix! You are either LIGHT or Dark!  You can not be both- so once again, you must choose.

Jesus, please help us today to examine our hearts.  Once again we pray David’s Psalm.

Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, our God, and renew a steadfast spirit in me.  And, do not take the Holy Spirit from me,

but restore to me the joy of Your salvation….  Remove in me the things that are displeasing to You, Abba.  Show me, so I may repent.  I want to be right, I want to be Light!   The scripture also tells me that the candle of the Lord searches all the inward parts of my body-  Clean the spirit of me- cleanse me.  Let Your blood purge and cleanse all the dead work in and against me.

Show me all unrighteousness-especially Pride- all sin Lord- so that I may repent and become clean and righteous in You.

Be the Light that exposes darkness- all the darkness in me- so that there isn’t any darkness any longer.  That I may have Your full joy in me!  That I may have Your full light in me.   In Jesus precious and Holy name I petition You.  Amen Jesus.  Amen.
