IN Christ

What does that mean?

Christianity seems like a lot of work!  However, it isn’t at all!  To the person who can’t or won’t surrender to God, this seems a large chore! Give up “life” as they know it to…what?

To a CHRISTIAN, however, to live is Christ!  Well, what does that mean???  

The answer is simple:  We walk by faith, not by sight! We surrender this life as we know it over to God.  Because we know, as His children, we are “taken care of.”  We choose to hide in Him, to give ourselves over to Truth, (Jesus Christ) and let Him take care of us!

To the unbeliever, this is utter nonsense!  Because, they need to SEE & TOUCH and smell, and logic doesn’t compute to them, because God is an invisible God! They say: the “universe” has a say…. it’s all about the “universe!”  But WHO created the universe???

They want to see logically this God, this Christ, who is right in front of them, yet they can not see. It is “foolishness” to them.  So because of unbelief, they can’t see!

Yet, how do we see?  Simply, we have faith!   

The unbeliever can not see because they refuse to have faith.  Faith is a rarified gift.  

A gift to all- a gift planted in each and everyone of us.  

A gift they refuse.  So LOVE is overshadowed by unbelief. This is such sad “shade” to carry.  Because it over-loads the one without faith with lies.  Whereas they are so convinced in their lie they can not see Truth… they can not see Christ… who is right in front of them.

The unbeliever’s lie overshadows to utter darkness the Light of Christ.  The lie is this: 

He isn’t… logic says so, I can’t see him…. So, they carry this burden (that they know not of, with unbelief that overshadows the life in which Christ would have for them.)  They can not see Christ, or all the goodness in store for them.  Just the lie: unbelief.  

It is shattering, and a road that leads to eternal death.  

Christ wants you to have ETERNAL LIFE IN Him!!!

Abiding in the comfort of the Lord brings you: rest, life, answered prayers, Love…. oh, I can go on and on.  Do you want joy of faith? Abide in your God!  Abide in His Shadow, and see what happens in your life!

Allow His message to dwell in you!  

Believer, YOU are the righteousness of God, IN Christ Jesus!  Let Jesus dwell in you, and your faith!  Because through your faith is all the answers to life’s questions!

That brings us to walking!   Walk, walk, walk!  It’s a very lovely journey for the Christian!  We are protected!  We are loved!  We are provided for!  We, the faith-believer/walker walks in victory!  Jesus is with us, and guess what?  we can see, touch, and feel HIM every single minute.  His presence is with us!  He never disappoints! God with us: Emmanuel! 

The believer has a very large gift:  SALVATION!  It’s a win-win for us who believe.

When the world speaks, we only hear God.  When sickness tries to rear it’s ugly head, we can praise our way out to blessing!  When things go wrong (which they always do, for everything you do right) know this:  God is IN IT!  God is IN everything that pertains to the believer who has surrendered to God!

To live (in Christ) is gain!  Don’t forfeit your soul to the world, and it’s lies!  No, submit to God!  When you do, the enemy has to flee from you!

Walking means JOY- in the presence of the Lord, is FULLNESS of Joy!

Walking means REST on every side!  Walking means, we can rest in PEACE on this very earth.  Not the world, but God’s earth with God’s blessings!!!  Hallelujah!!!

Walking with your Friend who sticks closer than a brother!  Hold onto Him, Listening to His still quiet voice, and reveling in His blessings Heaped upon blessings!

Today is your day!  Today is the day of Salvation!!!

To the one who is still wondering…  if you obediently surrender to Christ Jesus, you will, guaranteed, see a difference in your life!  The peace that passes all understanding will light the way, and show you that all the unbelief, and lies exposed were just that: lies.

God has planned from day one, for you to be with Him.  However, God will not force you to believe.  That choice is only yours to make.

So, if this message is speaking to you today, will you choose well?  Ask God to help you to understand what this message means?  To surrender to Christ Jesus, who loves you, by the way, and ask Him into your heart?  It’s simple.  It’s faith!  It’s what God would have for you!  

In the end, all the believers who read this: pray for the one who needs Jesus, who has read His message.  And believe with me that Salvation is their win-win too, In Jesus name.

Jesus, according to Your Word, we are to walk as You walked.  In LOVE, in FAITH, and compassion.  This is how I see You, Lord.  Faith, Your faith, knew that God was with You, and heard You, and praise God, answered You.  Just the same for us.  You: Love, hear and bless us.  Thank you, that You Jesus, we live, move and have our being.  I pray for the one today that You open their hearts, and melt the doubt and hardness, and heal and deliver and save today.  They need You, Jesus.  We need You, Lord.  Bless today and every day, as we walk by faith, and not by sight.

This I ask in Jesus name.  Bless the ones who are praying this prayer with me, Sweet Jesus.  Be with them in their need, and allow Your Light work what needs to be worked, according to Your Word.

Jesus told us He is the Light

of the world.

The Light has come!

He is Jehovah 

and our Salvation!

Have you seen the Light?

Is He IN you?

You see, if Jesus Christ is IN you

you are also the light

of the world!

So BRIGHT

so UNHIDDEN

and UNASHAMED!

Jesus wants you to SHINE!

never hide your light!

But, place your light so high

and, be so bright

that others can see

and feel comfort

The comfort

of the Father’s love.

Give LIGHT to everyone who passes by!

Be LIGHT for all who need light!

And, bring glory and Praise to your Heavenly Father.

Jesus, allow your Light (You) to guide and direct us in our lives

in this world.  Allow us to be courageous to Shine!

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, 

but against principalities, 

against powers, 

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, 

against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:12 KJV

No, this is not a flesh and blood fight we fight spiritually.  Not a race run, without opposition.  Not a day goes by for a believing Christian where there isn’t resistance (a push/pull) from the enemy.

You see, the enemy is the Prince of darkness, prince of principalities.  He has powers.  He is the one who controls the darkness of this world.  He is the essence of evil, wickedness in the high places.

Hallelujah!  Greater is HE who is IN us, than he who is in the world. 1 Jn 4:4

We have Jesus, who told us that He would never leave us (comfortless or abandoned)!  We have the presence of the Father, His Holy Spirit, and Jesus Himself to do the wrestling!  We have angels encamped all around us!  We are promised rest on every side!  Protection by the name of God! It is GOD WHO FIGHTS OUR BATTLES!

Praise God, for all the promises, and His yea and amen for the sake of His people all across the earth!  Hallelujah and Amen!

As we get to know our Father better, this enemy also wants to be recognized.  He fights us.  He wants to devour us.  He is a roaring lion. 

Hallelujah!  Jesus said, I COME- that you might have LIFE, Life IN Him!  Life as we know is: life more abundantly.

Abundant blessings!  Abundant Protection!  Abundant rest (on every side!)  Yes!  Perfect Peace!  

In Psalm 91 we get to see the fall of the enemy on our right and left side.  You see, God has (us) it covered!  When we are held in the very palm of God’s hand, we are in a place where the enemy can’t touch us.

When we are in the Shekina, the glory of God, there is no fight, only peace.  Remember, the enemy has a boundary.  When we are on “God’s side” this enemy has a lot of trouble getting through.  It is a battle.  But not a losing battle for God’s people!

The roaring lion may roar, but GOD HAS ALL THE POWER!  And, all the say!  To the Believing Christian, VICTORY from our Savior is here.  Not far away at all, but here.  As close as our breath’s thought/cry to our Abba.  As close as Jesus standing right next us.  As close as our faith will take us.  Do you believe?

Jesus, thank you that You are the Mighty God!  The one who protects, covers, hides us IN You!  Thank you that when troubles come (and they will) that You are here to make it silent.  We have an enemy, yes, but he can be a silent/powerless enemy, in Jesus name.  The wrestling is Your department, Abba.  The battle belongs to God!  Jesus’ Victory on the cross made our life, our spirit and belief IN Him a W O N & VICTORIOUS ending! 

The beginning of this scripture says:  We wrestle not.  So, Abba, thank you that we are in the very capable hands of God- who does all the wrestling for us!  

Thank you for your protecting angels!  Thank you that the Power of Your name is enough.  

Your breath, the puff of your breath, blows away the distraction, the wiles and power of the enemy.  He is powerless in Jesus name!  We are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ!

Hallelujah!!!

The enemy may come close, but he has a boundary, Hallelujah!  

Help us not to succumb to the enemy.  Keep us strong in you, Abba.  Keep us positive, even when the “positive” is not there.  Help us in life!  When life’s events happen, help us to walk by faith and not by sight.  Help us to remember YOU ARE THE POSITIVE in our very lives.  You lift us higher, because, you are the ONE, the ONLY Father.  Your Son paid the price for our victories, Hallelujah!!

We praise you!  We honor the God of God’s, Your name is Higher than any other name!  The True God! The One in whom we revere.  O, thank you, Lord!

Together we say: Glory to God in the Highest, it is YOU who we love and adore and delight in!

Another year has come, Lord, and thank you, for keeping us in Your Light.  And, a new year is coming, please protect us by the power of Your name, and hedge us in.  I love what Pastor prayed last night at church, Abba, “close us in with Your Spirit.”  How precious You are.  Thank you, again and again and again….

Are we willing to deny our selves?

DENY our wants and needs?

DENY the world?

DENY self?

ALL for Christ?

Are we able and capable to take up the cross?

When was the last time you spoke to someone about Jesus?

Forgetting who you are

and Remembering who you are IN CHRIST JESUS?

just to merely

allow Jesus

access

to someone?

We live in a world who needs Jesus

a world that is desperate for Jesus!

What are we doing about it?

Following Jesus takes action.

Are you Saved?

What are you doing about it?

Are you going about doing the Father's business?

or, are you

sitting on your hands?

THIS SCRIPTURE STATES THAT WE NEED TO

DENY SELF

TAKE UP THE CROSS

AND, FOLLOW

JESUS.

I encourage you to ponder this scripture.

Ask God to help you.

You see, He made a way for you!

And He will make a way for you

to help someone who needs Jesus.

Abba, thank you, for Your Word.

...HOLD ON STRONG...

The LORD is good, 

a strong hold 

in the day of trouble; 

and he knoweth 

them that trust in him.

Sometimes, we need to know there is refuge in our God.  

Sometimes, troubles seem to crowd the vision of our Stronghold 

who is our God!

Sometimes, we need to TROUBLE our trouble 

with the Word of God!

We are IN Christ Jesus!!!

You see, GOD KNOWS!

God knows His children!

God knows our needs!

God KNOWS when trouble needs troubling!

So, He kindly sends the Holy Spirit to us

and reminds us (via the Word)

that:

He is a very present help in times of trouble!

that:

He KNOWS what is going on in our life!

that:

when we place our TRUST in Him with confidence

our faith goes into action!

You see, God is GOOD!

and capable, and strong, and mighty

He’s our STRONGHOLD

& our comfort.

You see, when we go to the Stronghold, 

we need to hold on strong,

With confidence,

With knowledge, that God will never let us down!

God is our reality!

Let us trouble our troubles with God!

Trouble is in trouble

because God says:

I will never leave you, nor forsake you!

I will never abandon you,

I am with you ALWAYS!

One puff of His breath

causes hurricanes!

One puff of His breath

will blow away the trouble 

that the enemy persistently brings.

Matter of fact, if you KNOW WHO your Father is

our attitude should be, trouble-smuble!

God “got” this!

My only job is to:  TRUST HIM!

So, Abba, here we are again, first thanking you that YOU are in CONTROL of our every moment in our life.

We are Yours, and You take very good care of us.

Forgive us when we “forget” that it is YOU who is our help.

Help us,Lord, to lean on You.  Rely on You, & FOCUS on You, for

You are God, and there is none other.

When trouble comes, we rely on You to move the mountain named trouble.

We can say in faith: MOUNTAIN MOVE and it will.  

Abba, You are who we need to hold on to strongly!

You know what is going on in our life

before it occurs.

Yet, we still call on You to help us, to protect us, to guide

us in Your truth, for

our hope is in You, all the day long!

Lord, help us to be equally as persistent in YOU

as the enemy is persistent with it’s bothers!

You hold us in Your very capable hands, Abba.
