......"SHOOOOO, IN JESUS NAME"...... JAMES 4:7

Submit yourselves therefore to God.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7 KJV

How to get rid of the devil.

As we know, we have a serious enemy.  He is the devil.  He is evil with a capital D!
He wants you and I to be under his thumb.  He insists on being a bother to us.  He is very subtle and very persistent.  He is annoying, a pesky pest, and I want him away from me!

He wants to get into our mind, and make a home.  He wants to get into our heart and kill, steal and destroy us. That is his job!  He HATES God’s children.

This why the Lord tells us to ‘guard your mind.’  In other words, be aware, be ready.  Be on guard to get rid of this enemy.

He sets traps, he lies, he cheats, he is forever pestering as best as he can.  He is a constant drag!

Thank God!!!  That we have another secret in our arsenal!  GREATER IS HE, who is in me than he who is in the world!”  Because Jesus is IN us, the devil lost, again.

When we are aware of our surroundings, we see ‘who’ is this that is causing us so much trouble, and we can overcome him with the Power & Word of God!

We can tear down all strongholds!  We can look to Jesus.  We can seek God first, and everything (all these things) will fall into place  ((be added unto you)), because of Jesus.
All these things consist of ALL that God’s Word says, including resisting the devil.

In fact, when we tear down our strongholds, in the end, when we take these problems to Jesus, and give them to Him, we also see the enemy is punished.  Hallelujah!

When we get rid of the devil, our faith in God, puts him in his place.  UNDER GOD’S FEET!  Under our feet!

Jesus told the devil to get behind him.  He didn’t want to see that ugly face!  But, Jesus also knew that even then, the devil lost.  He was powerless.  Jesus spoke.

When God’s peace (in us) is disturbed, we know trouble (devil) is near by.  But because of God’s Word, we can trouble this devil with God’s Words.  And, this devil has to yield.

In James, we are told to “submit ourselves therefore unto God.”  Let’s break this down.

  • Submit: giving God all authority.
  • therefore: consequence, for that reason
  • yourselves: personally- help yourselves!
  • Resist:  throw off, reject, I see it as shoving away forcefully
  • flee:  run away- defeated.
  • He must also submit unto God.  He must GO! God’s presence is too much for him-

So, as we personally submit, allowing God His rightful authority, there will be a consequence…. the devil is doomed.  He must obey God.

Father, this devil is persistent.  But I thank You, for Your Word.  I am protected by You.
Psalm 91 says so!  You are my strong tower!  Your mighty right arm protects me.  I am held in the palm of Your hand.  You LOVE me, with an everlasting love.

What more can I say?  If God be for me, who can be against me?

Father, I choose to allow You complete control of my life.  Matter of fact, I don’t want to be in control of my life at all, but have You direct my every move.  You are my Lord, I submit myself unto You.

Thank you, that as I submit, I am surrendering myself- unto my God. You are able to keep me protected by Your mighty name, your mighty powerful hand, and your very breath will… pffft this enemy away, as if you were blowing an annoying speck away from Your child.

My ‘consequence’ by being obedient is this:  I will have rest on every side!
How does this happen for me?  I trust my God!

This very persistent enemy has to obey my Father!  He has a consequence too-  His ultimate consequence is HELL.  Until that time though, Abba, I need to rest in You.  I need to hide in You.  I need, Lord, to submit myself therefore unto You.  Shoving this devil away, not giving him the time of day.  Acknowledging that even when he is nearby, my God is mighty to save me.  I don’t need to talk to the devil.  I need to talk to God aloud, utilizing His Words, my words of safety, of retribution!  It is my sword, you know!  So I must use it to the fullest.  I must be serious, and BELIEVE all that God says is true, as I recite what God has taught me.  Help me, Lord.

I hate this enemy, as much as he hates me.  And, I know, he is a defeated foe.  Hide me.
Mold me into a strong Child of God.  Teach me even more.  Open my eyes, my heart, and my mind that must be guarded at all times.  And, when the enemy is nearby, THANK YOU that you are here too, raising the standard against him.  You are here for me.  Always near by, never to leave me helpless, or abandoned.  Your angels surround me.  All my God has to to is raise His eyebrow, and the devil has to submit to God, my help, my very present help, in time of trouble.   So THANK YOU JESUS, that as I submit my self to You, I am protected, and the annoyance ceases…. the devil has to cede, and flee from Your presence!

Hallelujah, Hallelujah!!!

My heart is happy that my God takes very good care of me.  Thank you, again, Abba.
This prayer I pray in Jesus name, with thanksgiving in my heart that YOU are a good, good Father.

Amen and Praise the Lord.  Amen Jesus!

THE BIG PICTURE... GODS!

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
Philippians 4:6 KJV

The Lord loves our thankful heart!
The LORD loves to hear us call to Him.  As a matter of fact, He encourages us to call upon Him in Jeremiah 33:2-3.  ((Thus says the Lord who made heaven and earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it.  THE LORD IS HIS NAME. \0/  “Call to Me, and I will answer you.  I will tell you great and mighty things which you do not know!”  pssst, do you want to know something from God???

Listen, didn’t God say that NOTHING is impossible for Him, in Luke 1:37?  Not even our prayers and supplications up to Him.  He wants to hear from us!  God wants to bless us!
It is His ultimate pleasure to do so.  Oh, He is our More upon More God wanting to bless His children, Hallelujah!!!

We all have requests, and needs.  We can’t provide all our needs, but God can!  We don’t have the knowledge of the “big picture” for our lives, but God does.  He sees and knows ALL!  Our requests are nothing for Him!  Nothing is ever impossible, the bible says!

How many of us had no where else to turn, save God?  I have, and when I put my ALL into my prayer, my supplication was heard.

I begged God for my husband’s life.  I was humble before my God, for there was no other answer for me, save God’s answer.  He knew the end result before I even prayed it. And praise God, it was good, because we serve a good, good Father!  It will always be a win/win as we put our trust in God!

And, never, never, never forget to thank Him for His kindnesses.  I pray we let the word “thank you” be the integral part of our vocabulary.

God loves and blesses a thankful heart with His MORE!
So, don’t be stingy with your thank yous!

We are promised new mercies every morning because our Father is faithful to us.
(Lam 3:23).  They are new and fresh!  God LOVES to bless you with His new mercies, and favor, and He surrounds us.  He shields us!  He protects us, by the power of His name!
Hallelujah!

We need not worry, nor be anxious about anything!
Are you nervous? Are you troubled? Do you want rest on every side?  Go to God in prayer.  Humble yourselves before your God.  Talk to Him! Tell Him what is troubling you.  Be honest in your heart before your God.  Pray to Him.  Pray without stopping!  Keep God in front of you!  Always allow God to be in your ‘big picture’ because He is in it. He is the big picture!!   If you allow Him, He can/will make all things new again!  That enemy, or mountain that is ‘troubling’ you needs to be ‘troubled’ by God!

Remember when Jesus said, “it is finished”on the cross? It ((whatever your “it” is)) was finalized, according to His Word and, according to the Father’s yea and amen!

Ending, Don’t be anxious about anything.  Instead, pray!  Be humble before your God.  Come to Him clean.  Ask Him to forgive you your sins.  Be free to be honest as you petition your Father.  He wants to bless you!  And when He does, ((during, before and after)) Don’t forget to thank Him!  May God smile upon your day, in Jesus name!

H.O.M.E.

O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
Psalm 63:1

Father, I long for you, Lord.  I wake up with you, each and every morning, thanking you for another day.  I seek your face.  I search for you in your Word.  I can not wait for that day, when we all get to see you! That glorious day, when the trumpet sounds!  The day of the beginning of our forever with all your children rejoicing: Hosanna, Hosannah, you have come, and have saved us! You have delivered us to the Father, Jesus. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Jesus, thank you for the cross.  Thank you that we will see each other, eye to eye, laughter to laughter, heart to heart, with joy unspeakable and full of glory!

Abba, my soul thirsts for you!  Without you, I know, I am nothing.  I am weary, I am dry, I am dead without the life you provide for me.  I need YOU Jesus, here and now, today, tomorrow, and until we meet in the air.

I ask that you protect me, and all your children across the earth, by the power of your name.  Keep us safe (here) as we utilize each day for the kingdom.  Help our faith, and keep us under the shadow of your wing, I pray in Jesus name.

We long for home, Jesus. We long to see the Father.  Abba, my heart craves home, with you, forever.

Help me to help others, the ones who need you, more than anything, to see the light; to see YOU.

Bless our ‘earnest’ hearts.  Renew us in you, again and again, yesterday, today and forever.  We need you, Jesus!  We rejoice in you always, and rejoice again!  Hallelujah \0/  Hallelujah

O God,
YOU ARE MY GOD (there is none like you.)
earnestly (with all I have) I seek you.
my soul (my spirit) thirsts for you.  Only YOU can give me living water,
my salvation comes from you.  (thank you)

I long for you, daily, minute by minute.  I pray you keep me safe, and ready for your return. Watching, Waiting, longing, yes, longing for you, Abba.

Because we live in a polluted world-  Thank you that I am in it, not of it! Hallelujah! But even here, I am protected, by the power of your name.
Until we see each other again. We thank you.  Amen Jesus, forever and ever home.  Amen.

GODB4US

What shall we then say to these things?
If God be for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31 KJV

God loves us!  God is FOR us!  He is cheering His children on LAVISHING HIS LOVE and the loudest cheers!

He has run the race for us!  He has made the path for us.  His footsteps carved the way for us on the Highway of Holiness!

All the crooked ways, He made straight!  All the hard impossible things He made possible!
It does say in His Word: There is absolutely NOTHING impossible for God.  (Luke 1:37)

So, as we look to this scripture, we can thank God, because He is for us!

Looking at the flip side: The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy. ((John 10:10))  But Jesus didn’t take a step back and let him.  NO! Jesus came, to give us LIFE, life more abundantly!  Jesus came to GIVE.  Giving us His ALL.  Jesus came to destroy too, the devil, that is!  To render him utterly helpless and useless.  To STOP all his ploys against us.  To GIVE us life, HIS LIFE, more abundantly.  MORE ABUNDANTLY!!!

We have more upon more, because of Jesus!  More upon more, blessings, and kisses from God, because of His Son.

You see, Jesus rendered the devil silent when He rose up from the grave.  He took the keys of death and hell, and silenced His enemy.  Death lost it’s sting.  The grave lost it’s victory.

The devil LOST.
He lost his power over us!

We just need to know how to remind this devil on a daily basis that he lost.  We are the winners in this fight, this race called life, thanks to Jesus.

We can remind this enemy that GOD IS FOR US!!! It doesn’t matter who is against us, because GOD is for us! And, this is all we need to keep moving on in this life!

Ah, Lord God, thank you!  You are for us!  Even when we fail, You are for us!  Even when we stumble and fall, there You are, Jesus, with a outstretched hand, reaching out for us.  You love us with an unending love.  You have many times picked us up, and dusted us off, and even tended to us, personally.

You are always here, providing for all our needs.  You make sure that we have, because You personally provide for us.  You heal us.  You strengthen us.  You are our supply.  Your hand is always open to our every need.  We thank you, because we count on you and rely upon you in ALL things, Lord.

Thank you, that You are for us, and not against us, Lord.  What more can we say, except: thank you!  In Jesus name, we pray, Amen Jesus!

LORD, IF YOU ARE WILLING....

While Jesus was in one of the towns, a man came along who was covered with leprosy.   When he saw Jesus, he fell with his face to the ground and begged him, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.”

Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” And immediately the leprosy left him.

Then Jesus ordered him, “Don’t tell anyone, but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the sacrifices that Moses commanded for your cleansing, as a testimony to them.”
Luke 5: 12-14

LORD, IF YOU ARE WILLING….   I AM willing…..

How many of us have a special request of the Lord?  How many have been petitioning God?

How many have asked Him if He was willing?  God hears our requests, no matter how big or small.  Scripture says:  NOTHING IS TOO HARD or IMPOSSIBLE for Him! (Lk 1:37)  Truth be told, our prayers will be answered!

You see, God wants to answer ALL of your prayers!

That was then, this is now!  Jesus says: I am the same, yesterday, today and forever!

Back then there was this true story, a man with leprosy.  He was an outcast, a pariah, a nobody to be concerned about.  The only thing that the people were willing to do regarding this man, was move away from him, out of his presence, from his disease, his smell, and the grossness of his being.  You see, leprosy is an infectious ulcerations  ((open dry sores)) that cause disfigurement. It also causes the person to lose their digits.  Not only a disease on the fingers and toes, but one throughout the body.

In the bible days, these people were considered “unclean.”

Not so, with our Lord!  Hallelujah!

To Jesus, this man was going to bring GLORY to the Father!

This man’s faith got the attention of our Lord.  His words “Lord, if you are willing…” was music to God’s ears!
If Jesus could fist pump a Y.E.S.!!!, I bet he would have…  But my imagination tells me, He smiled real big, took the hand of the un-loved, un-wanted, and said, “I am willing.”

He healed him immediately!  He LOVED this man’s faith, that he HONORED and was FAITHFUL to him.  And, God being God, blessed this man, and made him clean! Hallelujah!!!

This is now…  Our Father and, His precious Son, in addition to the Holy Spirit, are willing to bless the ones who are faithful in their faith, too!  God is no respecter of persons!  If He is “willing” to honor faith with the man who once had leprosy, do you think he will pass by your prayers, and not honor your faith or petition?

No!  He is a good, good Father!  He rests His favor up on the righteous.  He gives us grace upon grace!  He also gives us new mercies every single morning!  This is our wonderful Father!

Jesus is willing to do
Now, is your faith willing to DO, ((put into action)) what God requires of us, without wavering?  Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen.  We shouldn’t rely on the circumstance in front of us.  Hallelujah!  Because our hope is in our Lord, He is willing, to show us, that our circumstance is tiny compared to the BIG picture & the end result.  God is willing!  God wants your prayers answered!  God wants my prayers answered!

We have to make a stand, and stand firm in our faith!  We have to push (as if revolted) the circumstance, the burden, the sickness, the horror of the enemies schemes away, and TRUST our God, with our “willing faith” to come to Him, as the man with leprosy, and just believe!  God will honor our faith.  God will honor our stand.  God will honor you if you purpose in your heart to set your face like a flint, ((trusting in my God)), I will not be disgraced, confounded, ashamed or humiliated!  Is 50:7  Because God will help me!  God will honor me!  God will bless my faith with His YES!

God will say to you and I, “I am willing.  Hallelujah!

What a wonderful God we serve!

Jesus, thank you!  Thank you for cleaning us all, because we have faith IN Your Word.  You teach us here that nothing is too hard for you.  You are a BIG BIG God, full of love and compassion toward Your children all across the earth, who love You!  You want to honor the faith of the faithful, of the righteous, and Lord, even the sinner who needs you, who calls upon You.  You want to show Your Glory across the earth!  Let it be so, Lord, in Jesus name!

Thank you for this lesson of Love.  Forgive our sins, Lord, and make us clean.  Then Lord, I ask you to bless the prayers and petitions that have reached your ears.  Honor the faith of each one of us who wait for, hope for, and expect You, Lord.

You stated in Your Word, that nothing is impossible to them who believe.  And, that we can ask anything in your name, and that You will do it.  Nothing is ever impossible for God.  My prayers are significant to You, Lord.  My cries will not go ignored.  Your arm is not too short, nor Your ear deaf to my cries.

YOU ARE GOD, and there is NONE other!  I am ((we are)) of God ((little children!)), and we matter to you.  We are the unloved, ignored, beaten down ones.  We are the poor.  But You stated in Your Word…. blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!  Hallelujah!

We are Your people and the sheep of Your pasture.  We are the LOVED!  We are the BLESSED!  We are the children of the Most High God, and guess what?  Our prayers are nothing for You, Father!  You smile down upon us, scoop us up in Your loving arms, kiss our boo boos, hug us tight, with your LOVE and Your BLESSINGS that rain down up on us.  Because You are “willing” we can walk in faith, and not by sight and rest IN You.  Thank you, that You are our hiding place.  In Your presence is the fullness of Joy.  Thank you!  Your grace is sufficient for me!  Hallelujah!!!

This is a prayer of thanks, and of victory, because YOU ARE WILLING Lord, to send Your Word to accomplish all You want!  You will bear fruit in my life!  You will answer all my prayers!  Your perfect will always be done, on earth as it is in heaven!  Your Word will prosper and not return to You void!

Why should I worry about a thing?  In fact, it states in Your Word, not to be anxious for nothing!

So thank you, thank you, thank you!  You are a good, good Father.  That’s who You are.  In Jesus name I pray.  Amen

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKE......

The Kingdom of Heaven is like:

  • a land owner who hired workers in the vineyard
  • a net that was let down to catch all kinds of fish
  • yeast
  • the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new and old treasures
  • a mustard seed  ((the smallest of seeds, yet grows a large tree for the birds to rest and nest))
  • a merchant looking for fine pearls
  • a treasure hidden in the fields
  • a king who prepared a banquet for His Son
  • like a man who sowed good seed in his field ((there is a jealous enemy))
  • a king who wanted to settle accounts  ((a forgiving king/ a stern king))
  • a man going on a trip entrusting his servants with his possessions

In all these parables the Master entrusts the servants with some kind of task.  He is trusting his servant with all that belongs to Him.  Entrusting them to discern good from bad, hard work, good works, enjoyment of treasures and special feasts. Holding the servants accountable for their actions.

In the parable of the man who sown good seed, in GOOD soil- we find that there is an interruption/ a distraction.  This enemy makes more work- yet all in all, it works together for God’s good in the end.

Some of the servants were rebuked, some were called unworthy, some were lazy, and some were rewarded for being wise.

Some were called and refused the King’s invitation, ignoring the King altogether, making excuses.  So, the King said to the servants, GO and LOOK for those in the streets and roads and gathered those they found, good and bad.  They had time to dress for the occasion, except one.  One who had the audacity not to bother to dress for the Son.  He was discovered first- and asked how he was able to “get in” with out wedding garments.  Reminds me of the one who climbed the gate to the sheep, instead of going through the gate.  Both were rejected by the Lord.

The main point of these parables is the revelation of obedience, of being watchful and ready, of being approved by the Lord our King, and God.  Not to fall into the subtleness of the enemies traps.  Not being distracted, or ignorant or disobedient to the Lord’s call.

God wants His children to be with Him!  He will separate the sheeps from the goats.  He will separate the good fish from the bad.  He has called us to Him.  Have we listened?  He has opened up His invitation to us.  Sent His servants out, for a last call to feast with HIm.
Have you heeded to His call?  Or, are you too busy for the Lord?

You see, in all of these parables, the Lord King God will settle His accounts.  If you disobey and purposely ignore His call, you will have a place with the bad fish, the servants who were called unworthy, and it will be a forever thing. Be wise and listen for the call!

To the obedient, we will have forever joy with our Father, the King, and our God.  His Son will be with us forever as we enjoy the treasures; new and old!  Feasting at His table!  Enjoying the precious things found that was hidden in our heart that only the Father knew where our treasures were hidden.

Scripture says, where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.  Is your heart with the Father, seeking Him and His Kingdom?  Is your heart following after all of God’s truths?

If so, we will see His precious Kingdom, we will see Him seated next to His Son.  We will enjoy all that He has created for us, in all time- His time.

All I can say is: open our eyes, our ears and hearts Lord, and let it be so.  Help us to be completely open to You- remove obstacles and distractions, and help us to hear You as You call out to us, in Jesus name I pray.  Amen Jesus.
