Kingdom of His beloved Son

For He (God) has rescued us 

and has drawn us to Himself 

from the dominion of darkness, 

and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 

in whom we have redemption 

[because of His sacrifice, 

resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins 

[and the cancellation of sins’ penalty].

Colossians 1: 13-14

I am so happy that Jesus Himself is our Redeemer!  I can personally say that He LOVED me out of sin and darkness, and out of a life that was doomed, into a life of FREEDOM IN HIM! 

Christ has DRAWN us to Himself, isn’t that wonderful???  Freedom has called to us- And the Redeemed have listened!

He forgave my/our sin and cancelled the penalty because of the cross and ALL He suffered so we would be fully and absolutely free from darkness.  He took our place!  He was SIN for me so I could be free from the wages of sin, which is Hell.  Jesus rescued me!  Praise God, \0/ Jesus rescued you too!

In all this, I glorify our Father God that the dominion of darkness does not have a hold on me any longer.  That the blood of Jesus cleanses and purges every dead work that might try to destroy me.  And He cleanses my heart and my mind.  

Hey!  I (we) have the mind of Christ!  Scripture tells us to guard our heart and mind, and that God will do it too!

We belong to Him!  So if I ask God to: Create in me a clean heart, it is done, because of the cross.  And if I ask God to renew a right spirit in me, God says to me, “ok, child, because of my Son, I will do this.”  Let the Redeemed of the Lord say so!

God doesn’t want us in strife, or sin or darkness.  He translated us into His Marvelous Light, into the Kingdom of his beloved Son, and His Son’s Light so that exposed sin would flee in terror.  This is UNITY with the Father, God with us!

No more sin, God is with us, whithersoever we go.  He is our front guard, our rear guard, or side to side protection.  We are protected above and beneath.  His very shadow covers those who dwell with Him in His secret place.  Hallelujah!

So I can freely declare: The King of Kings reigns!  Reigns in our life.  

Jesus, my King REIGNS in my life!  Rules over me, because I am so lost without God, I need Jesus!  I submit myself unto Him and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord.  Lord over me, over my soul, over my body and mind.  Because, I am secure that as I am under the Shadow of the Almighty God, His protection, and His Son’s loving sacrifice on the cross, that I am considered ‘son, daughter’ to the Father of Redeeming Mercy who has SAVED me from myself in sin.

In this message Lord, thank you doesn’t seem quite enough.  But allow my many thank you’s to be sufficient.  I am so personally grateful for Your Love and sacrifice toward this child.  You rescued me, and for that, I am ever grateful for an eternity with You.  Bless those who LOVE you and APPRECIATE You for Your sacrifice on the cross.  And bless those who just can’t seem to come to the right decision.  Allow FAITH to step in and help them choose LIFE, Lord.  

I love You, Jesus.  With all my mind, heart, soul and all my strength.  Let all that is within me bless You, Lord.
