GOOD GOOD FATHER

“For I know the plans I have for you,”  Says the Lord

“They are plans for good- to prosper you, plans for welfare

and not for disaster or evil.  I will not harm you.”

My plan is to give you a hope and a future.”

Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me,

and I will listen to you."  Jer 29:11-12

Purpose, God’s purpose for us is GOOD!  GOD’S ultimate plan for us is for us to DEPEND on Him in ALL things.

He is a good good Father!  His every plan and intention for us is GOOD!  This is all God knows how to be… good!

The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy.  This is his ultimate plan and objective.  

But God’s commitment to us is to prosper us, & to give to us, to help us to live a life (a very good life) dependent on Him.  Our future is in His hands!  He knows all about us!  How many hairs are on our head, how tall we are, our eye color, and He also knows when we have needs.  In God’s eyes, we are set-apart and considered worthy, child of God.  We are blessed and highly favored!  We are the righteousness of God, IN Christ Jesus! God sees our big picture, the end result, all beginning and ending with God, maker of the universe,  maker of us.  We were created in His image, so we can prosper and bear fruit.  Not to die without His presence.

Remember that thief that was mentioned?  His controlling ways wants you under his thumb.  He wants you confused, he doesn’t want you to have ANY good thing from God.  So he interrupts and distracts and confuses to try to take our eyes off our Father.  He wants to literally destroy you-  He will kill you if he can, every way he can.  

He is evil, he is the devil.  And, he is real.

However, God is REAL!  And MORE Powerful than this enemy named the devil.  GREATER IS HE- THAT IS IN YOU- Than he who is in the world (devil).

If you believe in Christ Jesus, God’s spirit is in you.  He is the Holy Spirit- and HE IS GREATER- mightier, more powerful…  in just His name….JESUS… there is power.  All we have to do is think His name, speak it out, and call.  And when we do, the GREATER ONE (Jesus) will come- guaranteed!  

His plan for us is good.  Never calamity or disaster.  He wants to prosper you.  SEEK Him first, and His Kingdom, and all these things (in life) shall be added unto you.  (all our hopes, and dreams and needs will fall into God’s order.)

THY WILL BE DONE on earth as it is in heaven, scripture says.  Yes, this is God’s plan.  

Jesus, bless our faith as we receive Your message.  Thank you, Good, GOOD Father.  Thank you for listening to my prayers when I come to you boldly.  Thank you that you love us and set us apart for Your goodness, all for Your glory, Father.  

This I pray in Jesus name.

God’s objective and reason are for us to have advantage and dedication IN HIM.  We have merit, we have worth!  God our Father is so steady and His steadfast LOVE is forever with His children.  His eye is constantly steadfastly on us.  He never turns away from the righteous!  He never will leave the righteous.  He is committed to us!  His goal is for us to SEE HIM!   We, God’s people, are called by His name.  We have a role in the Kingdom.  His purpose is for us to have a role in His YES.

His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven.  His will is for His children to be with Him, not just now, but FOREVER- and ever and evermore, AMEN.

FAITH IS

YIELDING TO GOD’S PURPOSE

FAITH IS: THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR AND THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

WITHOUT FAITH, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD.

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD (ESPECIALLY) TO THEM WHO BELIEVE.

Faith is simply yielding to God’s purpose!  You, dear reader, are God’s purpose!  We have PURPOSE, direction, and God’s end plan- Believer.   God’s YES is everywhere in our life.  Scripture says He is a yea and amen God.  Which tells us, His YES has action, His YES is action! (Is 55: 8-12)  All we need to do is know our scriptures, speak them out BELIEVE and, the SEED will grow God’s YES.

A person who waivers in their faith is no good to themselves or their faith.  It is likened to planting a seed, wondering if the seed is growing, thus, pulling it up to see, then replanting.  In turn, wavering causes shock!

The plant withers, the seed is worthless, and either the plant makes it (with God’s help) or dies.

Our growth comes by simple blind faith.  We either BELIEVE GOD or we don’t.  And, the reward is as we believe, we SEE remarkable things, and certainly a remarkable God!

You see, God wants to give to us.  He is so generous.  He wants to see our little seed grow into something big.

A tiny mustard seed doesn’t ask God what he is going to be, or what he is going to accomplish.  No!  He trusts God with the planting, the watering, and even the fertilizing!  He trusts that God will take care of him so that he will produce and please the Father.

This should be our attitude.  

Do you want to please God?  Then trust Him!

Do you have a need?  Whom else can you go for that answer?

Does your faith in your Father lead you to YES answers?

or does your unbelief and wavering cause you to stumble and keep banging your head?

You see, God has PURPOSE for you.  (Jer 29:11)  And, God’s purpose is ALL GOOD!  Every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of Heavenly Lights! His seed is Himself, the Word.  He wants you to have the loveliest garden! One that bears the MOST fruit.  He wants your belief in Him to water and bear fruit the desires of your heart.  Do yourself a favor, NEVER WAVER!

Jesus, please bless our faith in You today.  Thank you for Your YES and AMEN.  Thank you that whatever we ask in Your name, You shall do for us; all we have to do is delight ourselves IN You!  All we have to do is believe who You are, and know who You are, our Good good Father!

Thank you for all our answered prayers, and even the ones You will answer in our lives, as we Trust IN You, Rely on You, and put all our hope IN You, Jesus.  We say thank you!  Amen and Praise the Lord.  Amen Lord, Amen.

...THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM...

THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.

Fear of Jehovah is a beginning

of knowledge, Wisdom, and instruction fools have despised!

Dear Body of Christ,

“But do people know where to find wisdom?

Where can they find understanding?

No one knows where to find it?  

The price of wisdom is far above rubies.  

It’s worth more than the purest gold.

It is hidden from the eyes of all humanity.

“God alone understands the way to wisdom;

he knows where it can be found,

for he looks throughout the whole earth

and sees everything under the heavens.

Then he saw wisdom and evaluated it.

He set it in place and examined it thoroughly.

And this is what he says to all humanity:

‘The fear of the Lord is true wisdom;

to forsake evil is real understanding.’”  

(Job 28: 12-13,18-19,21,23-24,27-28)

 You are partners with Christ Jesus because of God. 

 Jesus has become our wisdom sent from God, 

our righteousness, our holiness, and our ransom from sin.

(1 Cor 1:30)

 I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers and asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in your knowledge of Him.  I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the Hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe….

He displayed this power in the working of His mighty strength, which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly realms.

Far above ALL rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is named not only in this age, but also in the one to come.  And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
                                 (Eph 1:16-23)

In this, you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer various trials, so that the authenticity of your faith — more precious than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire — may result in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and rejoice with an inexpressible and glorious joy, now that you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Bless our faith, and our wisdom IN You.  Help us to FIND You in all Your essence.  Thank You, for Jesus who became our Wisdom sent from You, Abba.  Thank you for showing us the Way to wisdom, to YOU, for You are the Way, Truth, and Life.   Our way, our Truth, and our Life, Amen!!!

Thank you that we are the church & the fullness of you, the body of Christ Jesus.  Thank you for filling us with You, and Your revelation.  

All praise, honor, and glory to You, Lord Jesus Christ.  From now to the end of the age, forever and ever, Amen.  

It is a privilege to be a partner with You, sweet Jesus.  

Thank You for enlightening the darkness, and forgiving all sin that seems to consume us.

Jer 31:12-14

"They will come and shout for joy 

on the height of Zion, 

and they will be radiant 

over the bounty of the LORD-- 

Over the grain and the new wine and the oil, 

and over the young of the flock and the herd; 

and their life will be like a watered garden, 

and they will never languish again. 

"Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance, 

and the young men and the old, together, 

For I will turn their mourning into joy 

and will comfort them

 and give them joy for their sorrow. 

"I will fill the soul of the priests with abundance, 

and My people will be satisfied 

with My goodness," 

declares the LORD.

This is Israel’s story, but God being no respecter of persons, states in His Word that this scripture is for the “grafted in” ones also.  (Praise God)

We will join in the dance, full of JOY.  We will also be satisfied with the goodness of the Lord.  We, Gentiles, are heirs and joint heirs, because of Jesus Christ, our Lord, according to the promise to Abraham.

Thank you, Father, that our life shall be like a watered garden, and that your Living Water flows as bubbly springs springing up and out of us.  Only You, Jesus, is the giver of this water to the one who believes.  Thank you!

Please allow us not to be broken cisterns of our own doing, but filled full with the abundance of YOU, dear Lord.

You told us in Psalm 23, that You will lead us beside the still waters, and lead us in the paths of righteousness.  We will find rest IN You, Lord.  We will find the “dance!”  We have nothing to fear, we are the children of God!

We certainly have something to Rejoice and Dance about- we are IN Christ Jesus, Yes!

We will be merry!  We will be full!  We will dance for our Lord, to the Maker of our JOY- who is JOY Himself!  We will play the harp and tambourine and praise praise praise our Lord, dancing with joy- because the Father of Lights LOVES us so Abundantly, we just can’t help ourselves!

You have brought us through the fire, through the valley’s, through the drought, and for some from the very brink of death to Life; to YOU.  Everyone has something to rejoice about, not one of us is exempt, our hearts are so thankful Lord.  Mine is for sure, thank you, Lord.

Yes, Lord, this is Israel’s song, and, thank you for making it my song too.  I rejoice IN You.  I am grateful that You provide for me and mine, also, Lord.  Thank you for the anointing oil, and anointing my head with this oil of joy, too, Abba.  I never have to fear that I will fall short or languish in want, because of You, O Lord, my provider, provides very well for me.  YES, we all have something to sing and shout about.  We all join in the dance of Joy.  No more mourning, just joy and comfort.  No more sorrow, just joy, peace and, rest on every side.  We will find REST to our souls, Abba.  Rest, IN You, and we will say:  Thank you, Abba, for we are most satisfied.  You declared it in your Word, and we declare it in our Thanksgiving prayer.

ISAIAH 55: 6-7

Seek the LORD while you can find him.

Call on him now while he is near.

Let the wicked change their ways

and banish the very thought of doing wrong.

Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them.

Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.

Good morning everyone!  Don’t you just LOVE the Lord?  This morning I woke up with a song that my not yet 2 year old grandson absolutely loves (highlighted, 
exclamation-ated & underlined!)  When Liam is in my home he wants to “dance dance” which means we need to listen to this song to make him happy, at least 50 times!  When we turn on this little song, his feet get moving, the smile on his face lights up the room, and he twists and turns with his arms up…. and of course, Lollie sings along with him as loud and screechy as I can, because this is what Grammy’s do, and we dance! Therefore, this silly song (want to call it a stupid song, but it isn’t) is stuck in my brain day and night now, so I change the words, and it is the Lord who makes me dance dance dance!  It’s wonderful to have a song in your heart.  Liam has one that makes him happy, that’s for sure!

We, the righteous, have something to sing and dance about!  We know where God is.  We find Him in our thoughts, and in our prayers.  He is around us in the tea olive bush, and the wonderful smell of a blooming rose.  He is in the bubbling brook.  He is in the rising sun when it comes up and when it is time for it to go to sleep and set.  We get to see God’s smile in our blessings as He kisses us joyfully on our cheek.  We hear him thunder in the storm, and wash the earth and feed it with the rain.  And even watch the birdies sing their hallelujahs to the Master!

I see God in my husband’s wisdom as he blesses our family and friends.  I see God in my daughters as they raise their children to be godly.  I see God in my prayers as I call on him while he may be found, and as I call because I know that He is near me. 

I see God who changed a sinner-lost into a child of God- free.  Me.  He changed me, and I am so glad.  Because when you walk away from God backslidden, wickedness surrounds you, influences you, and stupidly I fell in the STUPID-TRAP until God intervened.  Praise God!  \0/  God didn’t allow me to be stupid for long!
However, it was long enough for me to realize, hey, I need to change my ways, God says so!  So, with God’s help Sin was Banished from me.  The very thought of “going back” into that sin ever again flees me.  Praise God again, because, finally after 17 years of kicking myself with shame, Mercy came and washed me for a final time.  Not only for one sin, but the revelation of Mercy came for all my sins and wrong doing.  What I learned was that forgiveness is the integral part of our growing in God, and Mercy will come and free you.  Mercy came and freed me, like a wave.  Knocking me over, bowling me over rather for 3 days.  I was a mess, I was undone.  Jesus came and thoroughly washed me.  

When you turn to the Lord, “seek Him first” Mercy comes, and our life “in Him” falls into place.  In addition, our life on planet earth also falls into place.  Because we have God to lead us.  He forgives when we fail.  He forgives as far as the east is from the west.  It is us, me, who likes to hang on,  but no longer, Mercy came!

There is a scripture that says that if we walk in Light, the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.  He cleanses and purges every dead work that is bombarding our mind.  I couldn’t forgive myself my sin.  Now, my thinking is SIN ISN’T MINE- never say: My sin!  I don’t want it.  So when I ask God to forgive me of sin, That’s how I ask Him to forgive me.  I don’t want to own it any longer.  It is now forgotten when God takes it!

So let us take this Word to heart- Be a vessel of honor- purge yourself of sin and what is unfit, and unacceptable to God.  Flee it!  The scripture says to get out of the STUPID TRAP- this way:  Pursue Righteousness, faith, love and peace along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.  Surround yourself with the ones who LOVE God & who PERSUE God, who live godly lives unto God, walking in holiness…

This is how to get out of the stupid-trap!  Me, I had to see the eyes of God, and hear His voice telling me to STOP WHAT I AM DOING, AND TURN TO HIM…  He told me this twice in a church service (that I didn’t want to be at) that I attended to please my mother.  I am so glad that Jesus had my attention though!  Mercy was talking to me.  I couldn’t leave His eyes, or turn my head away, just look and listen.  Although, I was rebelling and getting agitated, Jesus didn’t, and His love covered a multitude of sin- old sin- no longer mine, hallelujah!!!!   

In my case, God so generously forgave me.  He allowed me to forgive myself.  He taught me to be a teacher of the Word (the best part of this stupid-trap story), and allows me to live out Mercy that He has shown to me.
I am no longer a slave to sin, I am a child of God!

Well, Lord, this message turned out to be so far from what I thought You were going to say!  Thank you for ministering to me this morning.  Please allow the ones who read this to have patience with me this morning, as I shared a story about myself.  Please allow them to see only Jesus in this story.  Jesus in Liam’s dance, Jesus in my husband’s wise words to my daughters and grandchildren and friends, and Jesus in a once sinner who had ears to listen to the Cry of the Lord telling me to “come back to Him.”  I do thank You, Jesus, for coming to church that day, and speaking through that pastor twice.  I was so stuck on stupid, Lord, you had to shake me up, twice.  Thank you!

I know now that when I call You, our very present help in time of trouble, You come.  Or, when I am weary, You are only a whisper away, sometimes a mere breath away.  Sometimes, Lord, our conversations are in my mind, and You come!  Thank you Lord, for loving me, for loving us.  You are Mercy, and I love you, too.

Please be with the one who needs this Word today, Abba.  I pray that You come to the one who needs to see Your eyes Jesus, and to hear Your voice, like I heard.  Lord, I know, someone must have been praying for me, and I thank you.  So, Lord, please let Your momentum continue for the one who needs this message.  Let them call on You and do all You say to do in Your Word, and be free, once and for all.  This I ask in Jesus name.  Amen Jesus!  and, Thank you

p.s.Is 59:1  Surely the arm of the Lord is not to short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear!

...YOU GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT.....

Mat 14: 16 Jesus was speaking to the disciples.  The crowds had followed them, they were (all) hungry.  They were in a barren place.  A place where food wasn’t accessible.  Our Lord had such great compassion toward the large crowd.  He knew they were hungry (spiritually and physically), and knew something had to be done.  The disciples wanted our Lord to “send them away,” but Jesus had other plans.  “YOU do something,” He tells them!  YOU give them something to eat, they don’t need to go away (at all).

Doesn’t Jesus expect the same from us, Children of God?  He expects us to DO something!  God has made me an encourager.  Lorraine, He says, YOU give them something to eat! (Don’t hold back!)

So when the Holy Spirit ministers to me, through my fingers, via way of the Word, His message comes through obedience.  I don’t hold in the gift God has given to me.  God wants me to give it away.  The same goes for you!

What is your gift?  How does God want YOU to utilize your faith into action?  What does God want YOU to give away and not keep to yourself?  Is it a word?  Scripture?  A testimony? Helping someone toward Salvation?

Scripture says in all you do DO as unto the Lord, heartily! 

So in all you do throw your heart in it all the way.  Be obedient. Follow the direction of God.  You don’t need to know what to do or where to go, that is the job of the Holy Spirit.  Just follow God’s instructions!  Listen to His soft loving voice.  Sometimes it’s quiet, and sometimes it’s to get out of your seat loud!  But, when God speaks, let the momentum of your faith start the movement toward something wonderful.

Do you know how many times I cry at this computer when I am finished with my God-assignment?  I am so blessed by what I read (even I am amazed!), and by what God gives to me through scripture, through Word, through His butterfly kisses as I call them.  I feel so loved and so blessed that I can not contain myself!  I can not keep this Word to myself!  

I am not selfish.  Jesus certainly wasn’t selfish, was He?  He GAVE.  He GAVE HIS ALL for us, holding nothing back.

I would go as far as saying Jesus” free will love-gift of the tortuous cross was done heartily as unto the Lord, His God, His Heavenly Father, for us.  Scripture states for the JOY that was set before Him, He endured the cross, scorning the shame… and now, He sits at the right hand of the Father, Halleluyah!

Jesus denied Himself- He was sinless, pure & free IN God.  He came so we believers can be sinless, free and pure IN Him.  He came so we could be fed- spiritually fed.  Free- spiritually free.  And, pure, so that we could see the Father.  Mostly, He did this so that we would imitate Him.  He fed us so that we could feed others, Amen.  

He told Peter to feed His sheep.  (Peter, you do something).  He tells as His disciples also to deny ourselves and take up the cross and follow Him. (do something).   He tells us just as He told Peter to feed His sheep.  WE are His hands, His mouthpiece, His feet!  We are His message, Child of God.

Do not deny God’s message!  Or, the bubbling spring that wants to come out of you- it’s bursting and bubbling over!

Get it out, and DO something.  Scripture says, be a DOER of the Word… 

So, Father, once again, thank you for Your Word, and message of Hope this morning. Thank you that as You told the disciples to feed your sheep, (the crowds), as You are no respecter of persons, it is something You expect from us too.  Bless us as we are obedient and follow all you say and do.  Bless us doers of the Word, Abba. Please open up the mysteries of God and let them bring forth much revelation Your more upon more.  Father, I pray for spiritual blessing HEAPED upon spiritual blessing.  This I pray in the blessed name of Yeshua, Jesus Christ our Lord.

...GOD'S IMPLANTED WORD....

So get rid of all the filth and evil in your lives, and humbly accept the word God has planted in your hearts, for it has the power to save your souls.

But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.

James 1: 21-22

Scripture states that God has grafted in, implanted in you, and planted deep inside of your heart this wonderful Word of God; which has Power to save your soul!

Our power is to humbly accept this Word.  Our power is to rid ourselves of all evil and stop being foolish, man. And, stop fooling ourselves in living our lives contrary to how God wants us to live!

God wants us HOLY!  Evil is unacceptable to God! Being prideful is just as unacceptable.  Snubbing your nose at our Maker who has planted His good into our hearts is just as unacceptable.  Don’t be a foolish man and let this be your folly.

I implore you, accept this wonderful Savior’s words who has the power to save you.  

Listen, your soul is important to Him. 

YOU are important!

Don’t just listen, but DO- what the word says.  What is written here and what you are reading is the “word,” that God is talking to you about, right now. Do it!

Get rid of evil inside of you, Do it!  Put it away! There is a gift grafted inside you, reach for it, it’s there.  Ask God to help you find it.  Search for it, it is inside of you.  It is in your inner part, and it is able to save your soul, friend.  

Don’t fool yourself and think you can do this life thing by yourself, without God.  YOU CAN’T.  You just can’t.  Life here is miserable enough without God.  But when you die, you will have an Eternity of worse.  SAVE YOUR SOUL.  You have the power to do it.  No one else can, save, you and Jesus.

Jesus, we pray for the one who is fighting this.  Who is having trouble humbly accepting your Word planted inside of them; who don’t know how to find it.  Lord, it’s there, show them, YOU are there, all they have to do is ask You to come and help them.  Jesus COME today and bless the one who needs you.  The one who isn’t saved, come into their heart as they ask.  Forgive them as they repent, and allow the planted Word who is Jesus to save their soul.  This I ask in Jesus name.

And, Abba, to the one who has the planted Word and is having trouble being the DOER of the Word, I ask Abba that You remind them of WHO their Father is: a God of LOVE, JOY, and Peace.  The God who has Power to Save, who is Mighty to Save their souls, HalleluYah!

And, lastly Abba, the one who is sick.  We rely on the implanted Word and call it forth, to accomplish all You want it to as You send it out to bear fruit, prospering everywhere You send it.   Thank you!  A soul needs saving, Abba.  

Bless the faith going out in the hospitals, Lord.  The ones who are crying out for their loved ones on their death beds, the ones who only have You as their last hope, in some cases, their last prayer.  Bless the faith going out there too,  Abba.

We accept Your Power, the Power of Your Word, for Your Word is Truth (You).  Thank You.

Help us to be free of filth and evil.  Lord, and even the evil one who opposes us at every corner and every opportunity he can.  Hallelujah! You are Lord, and You protect us by the Power of Your name! We are FREE IN YOU!

So we pray, Help us to walk in righteousness and to be holy.  Help us to imitate You, dear Lord.  We are in Christ Jesus, our Lord, and we humbly accept your gift!  Thank you.
