Comfort made Complete!

2 Cor 13:11
Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. 

• REJOICE
• BE MADE COMPLETE
• BE COMFORTED
• THINK ALIKE
• LIVE IN PEACE- and the God of peace will be with you

Isn't it wonderful when you speak to another Christian  & you click?  When you talk about Jesus, you are on the same page, from the same book, and speak the same language?

This is what this scripture reminds me of:  Together (where two or three who are gathered in the name of Jesus, there He is in the midst!) in agreement, with Jesus, no matter whether there is an outside problem, an issue...  With God, nothing is impossible!  He's the fixer of problems and handler of issues! Aren't you glad?

When we think alike, pray alike, & know how to reach God alike, we never have to worry

about  praying wrong, or incomplete, when Jesus is here in the midst!  In fact, there is a scripture that says: We can have the Holy Spirit "pray" if we don't know "what" to pray.

Does Jesus complete you?  Oh, He completes me!  When He said at the cross: it is finished

His work was complete; which means problems, issues, whatever is also FINISHED when I go to God with them.

When we think alike, follow the Word, allow it to LEAD us, we can live in the Peace of God- because we know- God is with us!  ALWAYS.

We have something to rejoice about!  JESUS IS LORD!  First and Last, Beginning and End! Our SAVIOR & our LORD!  We bow down and worship Him because we are made complete in Him!  We are comforted IN Him!  We think alike, because we think like Him!  

I pray comfort over you this day:  Let these words that come from God's Word comfort and encourage you.  You are not alone!  You can live in Peace!  Thank you Jesus!

THE REASON

2 Peter 1: 1-9

Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

Grace & peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

The reason!

Remember I mentioned a tiny gift my dad gave me, the only one I can take and still utilize this day?  A prayer for wisdom, knowledge and understanding, is what he told me to pray for.

When we have this precious “gift” from God in abundance, through faith…ah, grace and peace come and make home with us!  Our Heavenly Father has called us to the knowledge of Him! He wants us to participate IN Him.  Participate in the divine nature in His glory and goodness! ((I can do that!))

God wants us to LIVE a godly life! God wants to enable us to do so! He wants us to GROW IN HIM!

Grow our faith, grow our goodness!  Grow our knowledge (wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and if you need wisdom, go to James 1:5!) Add the spice of self-control & perseverance.  And supplement, godliness, mutual affection and love.

Listen to our promise: If you possess these qualities, and the more you grow the more productive & useful you will be in your knowledge in our Lord Jesus Christ.

These qualities make you fruitful, not barren!  They increase you, you are not a spiritual wimp!  God enables YOU to DO His work- to be USEFUL- this is the reason!  Go wants you to have His divine Power, because you, dear Christian, follower of Jesus Christ, are CALLED into service to GO and be fruitful, and constantly increase, being effective, not ineffective or unproductive!  This proves one thing to God- if you make every effort to add all the ingredients, utilize them, perfect them, grow them, have them near, then you will KNOW you have been cleansed from your past sins!

Don’t forget what Jesus did for you on the cross! YOU were bought with a price! Make a conscience effort to be productive for your God- Father God.  What is our reasonable service in Romans 12:1? Is it too much to ask, to add that scripture to this one and grow in God?

Jesus, bless our faith today! Help us to allow Your Word to penetrate us- and grow us, and showing us how to escape the corruption of the world.  Let us on purpose have purpose in You, today, right now.  I ask this prayer for me, and these who read your word today in Jesus name I pray.  In Jesus name.  Amen Jesus.  Thank You.  amen

Happy Birthday Jesus, we PRAISE You!!!

Wise men, Shepherds, and the birth of Christ Jesus.  PRAISE GOD!

The time for the baby came; Jesus was born!  Mary gave birth to her first born.  A baby boy.  Emanuel; God with us.  Baby Jesus, wrapped in cloths.  His bed, a manger.  His guest room- was outdoors.

Here come the angels again!  This time to shepherds who were living in the fields, tending their flocks.  They witnessed the glory of the Lord, it was marvelous!  They were terrified because the glory of the Lord shown all around them.  But the angel of the Lord said to them, “Do not be afraid.  I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all people!”

The angel had more to say!  “Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you.  He is the Messiah, the Lord!  This will be a sign to you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.

Suddenly, a great company of heavenly hosts appeared with the angel, praising God saying:

GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST HEAVEN

AND ON EARTH

PEACE TO THOSE

ON WHOM HIS FAVOR RESTS.

And when the angels had left them and gone to heaven; they didn’t hesitate!  “Let’s go to Bethlehem, they exclaimed, “and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord told us about.”

Nothing like believing!  Miracles happen.  Guess what happened next?

The shepherds hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby (Just as the angel of the Lord said) wrapped in cloths, and found lying in a manger.

The word spread!  All who heard were amazed.  Mary treasured up all these things in her heart, pondering them!  (Luke 2)

Hallelujah!  Thank You Jesus! The things You have done are amazing, even Your birth.

Heavenly hosts praise You, your earthly believers praise You, and bring glory to you.

From Wise men, to Shepherds, to Your birth- and Praise, Praise Praise:  Glory to God in the Highest!  We give you our highest praise!  You give a present too: Peace to those (us) on whom God’s favor rests, thank You!

You have taught us wisdom from your Word (Proverbs and all through the bible) and have shown us in James 1:5 that if we NEED wisdom all we have to do is ask YOU!

You have shown us to be shepherds, (pastors, teachers, ministers) as you are the Great Shepherd of sheep, the Good Shepherd who lays down your life for the sheep (which are we) and you teach us, as you spoke to Peter to feed your lambs.

YOU CAME from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin. Blessed a man name Joseph too; because he believed.  And they witnessed a wonderful thing!

And the Praises never end! 

The praises never end-  when we are sleeping, all around the world praise is still going on, visa versa.  The earth has Peace and Favor resting on the believer.  This pleases God!  

So many wonderful gifts opened that day, and never ends!  Scripture says: the reason Jesus was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.  Everyone who is on the side of truth- listens to Jesus.

We all fall into the category of the title of this message!  Lets pray that the Lord open all He has, and gives us revelation!

We can be wise!

We can be shepherds, teaching men what the Lord has taught us!

We all were born- and us as believers: BORN AGAIN to truth, everyone who is on the side of truth LISTENS to GOD!

We all PRAISE our Father, worshiping Him in spirit and in truth!  Because His Spirit is Life to us!

Lets close with prayer.

Happy Birthday Jesus!  

Thank you for your birth.  It represents the beginning of life for us too.  

We pause right now to bless Your Holy name, with praise and thanksgiving in our hearts.

Thank you for wisdom, knowledge and understanding!  And if we need more, all we have to do is ask our generous God- who gives wisdom liberally without rebuking us!

Thank you that you taught us to be shepherds, ministers of your Word. Helping us to help others.  Bless Your Pastors as they minister about You, sweet Jesus.

Thank you for Your LOVE Father, for sending your only begotten Son because you loved this world- and seeing that you wanted us to be on the side of truth, by listening and by believing!  You generously gave another gift: Eternal Life- to the believer.

We submit ourselves unto you.  We believe in You and the Power of Your name.  Protect us Lord, and keep us from the evil one.  Thank you for Your favor that You allow to rest on us.

Lord this allow this prayer to bring glory to the name of Jesus.  With thanksgiving in our hearts, we bow to you, humbly.  We love you Jesus. I love you Abba- thank you from the bottom of my heart.  My gift to you: a surrendered heart, please except my gift.

In Jesus name, I pray.

"THE REASON I WAS BORN..."

…Pilate having a discussion before Jesus was crucified….NOT wanting to have Him killed.  He was fearful of what was placed in his hand.  

“What is it you have done?” He asked.  

Jesus replied: “My kingdom is not from this world. 

If it were, my servants would fight and prevent my arrest.”   

Pilate takes this in, but is still not sure…. “So, you are a king, then!”  Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king.  In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.  Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”  

Pilate retorted: What is truth?  (John 18:37-38)

What is truth?

Are you on the side of Truth?

Jesus said: “I am the Way, the Truth, and Life.”  I always capitalize the words way, truth, life, because these are names of God- that get me by in my life.

I need the Way to help me.  The path of the Way leads to Truth (there is no lie in Jesus) only Life.

I had to call on Life; and He didn’t let me down.

I have been reading the book of John over and over again.  In fact, I have lost track of how many times I have read it. When I'm finished, I start again!  There are so many truths that have opened my eyes!

But when I saw this scripture: the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth.  Everyone on the side of truth listens to me. I was floored.  It spoke to me!  It was as if I never seen it. (In fact, I don't remember reading it ever before)

The time of Celebration has come!  The reason Jesus was born was spoken from His very lips, to Pilate who was His audience at the time; and to us: THE BELIEVER!  

Jesus was born, and came into the world is to testify to the truth.  

ARE YOU ON THE SIDE OF TRUTH?

I thought about this this morning.  I have been pondering this scripture for a couple of days.  Truth be told, I have NEVER heard this scripture in any sermon, especially at Christmas time.  Have you?  

I’d like to challenge you to think about this scripture.  In fact read John 17 (the prayer of our Lord…for us) then John 18…if it ministers to you finish out the book!  (it’s not that much to read, and believe me, you will be very blessed!)

Jesus, thank YOU!  You gave us a reason and a truth to ponder based on God’s purpose for us! 

Jer 29:11 comes to mind! You are a good God! Thank you for Truth- Thank you that YOU are Truth!

And one more thing Jesus: You said, “Many are called, few are chosen. (&) “Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”  Thank you! Each and every believer- who worships you in Spirit and in Truth who have listened, not with their ears only, but with their heart.  and sided with YOU-the God of Truth, are truly blessed! Hallelujah.  

We need you Jesus-  Help us never to step to the other side, but stay put!  As believers, we are covered under the shadow of the Almighty, we take refuge in You!  We are safe when we stay on the side of Truth!  Help us not to listen to the “other side” who is not of truth, Lord it is the side of the wide gate and broad road that leads to destruction.  Keep us on the right path, Father!  

Let us be able to answer when someone asks: what is truth?

For we have the answer to share with the world.  JESUS, YOU ARE THE ANSWER!  THE TRUTH, our Truth, the Way to you, our eternal Life!  Our forever! With God.  

Bless us today, and at this Christmas time.  Let us not X out CHRIST at Christmas.  But ponder Him, and His ways that lead to truth and life, with a thankful heart!  

Jesus help us!

Thank you for this wonderful scripture, and please Lord, open up more revelation of You so we can all be blessed in You!  For we believers, the followers of Jesus Christ, KNOW what is Truth!

Thank you!  

Bless us at this Christmas time, please Lord keep us safe.  Help us to share the truth!
