IT IS WORTH EVERY BREATH TO FOLLOW JESUS!

Jesus said to:

"Ask and it will be given to you;  Seek and you will find;  Knock and the door will be opened to you."

Matthew 7:7

Jesus also said to Abide in Me.

"If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever
you wish, and it will be done for you."

John 15:7

Here is the consequence: "Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me."  If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine. Matthew 10:38

Blessings come from abiding!

Continue in Christ and

Allow His Words to live on in you.

The only way to survive in the faith

 is to hold on, never letting go...

Asking, and keep on asking,

Seek for God, and keep seeking,

Knock...knock... and keep knocking

Be persistent, your faith depends on your persistence!

Deut 4:29 says: 

"But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul."

From there in that place of FINDING GOD and NOT LETTING GO, you will FIND HIM!

The Door will open to you, but you have to FOLLOW the Path to follow Him.

His footsteps have already paved the way for you!

Self has to be denied.  The DEATH of my whims and worldly ways have to STOP.

Faith in SELF has to Die.

When we die to Self, denying your worldly ways and  putting God first, is the first step to FOLLOWING CHRIST!

Whoever cannot do this is not worthy of Him.

Whoever cannot put total and complete faith in God

cannot possibly survive the LIFE that God has for you.

This is why we have to abide in the vine! (John 15) without the vine (Jesus) we cannot bear fruit.

Without the Vine, we can not exist.

If the branch is broken off (our dead works) it is good for fruit bearing blessings.  But if the branch is broken off because it is worthless, useless and not bearing fruit, it dies, and withers and is only fit for one thing; 

the fire pit.

Abiding has many blessings coming our way!  When we seek with all our heart, we will find Him.  When we ask Him of anything, He will give to us, ABUNDANTLY!

And, when we knock at His door, openly (with an open heart),  God will answer us!

But if we are "closed off" and can't be bothered, or REFUSE... or,

If we shun the Door, or shun the Light

how can blessing possibly come our way?

Or ask God of anything with the wrong attitude of 

NON-FAITH,

How can we possibly expect ANYTHING of God?

But do you know that God loves anyway?

He rains on the just and the unjust!

He is LOVE!

and loves the hard-hearted because He knows that even that hard-hearted unbeliever has up to his very last breath to change his mind.

The one who LOSES is the one who REFUSES God.

So, where are you in this scenario?

How does your life and attitude FIT into these scriptures mentioned?

Do you need a pruning, so you can bear fruit?

Or, will you be broken off and your branches burn in the fire, without hope?

God wants to ANSWER your prayers.  He wants to see your faith (in Him) grow!

God wants to bless you ABUNDANTLY!   But only YOU can allow Him to do so.

Believe or Refuse are your two choices.

Have Eternal Life in Christ, or die in the fire pit (which is also eternal)

Oh, Heavenly Father,

Help the one you are speaking to today.

Allow Holy Spirit these scriptures to saturate the heart

especially, for the hard-hearted.

Allow your Word to soak in, and let Living Water flow

in and through them, like a river!

Allow Your Faith to become ALIVE in them

so they (we) can ask, seek, and find You.

You want nothing but blessings for us, Abba.

Help us, and our faith IN You to grow!

Help us as we deny ourself as You teach, and follow You.

IT IS WORTH IT, to follow Jesus!

Who is God to you?

For me, God is my Heavenly Father.

One, who I go to with everything pertaining to my life.

If something goes wrong, I go to God.

When I have praise, I go to my Father 

and thank Him.

God, I know, is all around me

for, I feel His presence all about me.

His LOVE surrounds me

and His Spirit guides me.

My life belongs to Him.

This is the reason I go to Him for everything.

He knows my name!

He holds me in the palm of His hand.

Yes, He is my Abba.

This morning I read my daily scripture

it said this to my spirit: 

“I will be to them a God,

and they shall be to me a people.”

I want God, my Father, as much as He wants me.

I love Him!  The beauty of this is: 

HE LOVES ME MORE!

So Father, thank you for your Precious Love toward me; and toward Your 

people you call by name.

Thank you that we are IN You, and that You love us.

In Jesus name, I pray,  Amen!!

....STEADFAST LOVE.....

((Remember,)) The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases.  His mercies never come to an end.  They are new every morning.  Great is His faithfulness!

Remember my affliction and my wanderings,

the wormwood and the gall!

My soul continually remembers it

and is bowed down within me.

But this I call to mind,

and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases;

his mercies never come to an end;

they are new every morning;

great is your faithfulness.

“The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,

“therefore I will hope in him.”

The LORD is good to those who wait for him,

to the soul who seeks him.

It is good that one should wait quietly

for the salvation of the LORD.

It is good for a man that he bear

the yoke in his youth.

Let him sit alone in silence

when it is laid on him;

let him put his mouth in the dust—

there may yet be hope;

let him give his cheek to the one who strikes,

and let him be filled with insults.

For the Lord will not

cast off forever,

but, though he cause grief, he will have compassion

according to the abundance of his steadfast love;

for he does not afflict from his heart

or grieve the children of men.  …..Lam 3:19-33

We all have fallen short in sin.  The smart WISE man is the one who repents to their Father.  He has two choices.  Sit and remember, and remember and remember sin.  Or, repent and be redeemed.  

The place of wormwood is a miserable place.  It is a place of shame.  And if all your hope is in “remembering” your shame, you must be a most miserable person.

God doesn’t want this for you!  He wants you to have freedom, redemption, NEW MERCIES- not just today, but every morning!  He wants you to start your day off fresh and new IN Him; every morning!  He is a faithful God, especially faithful to the humble.  He is the lifter of your head, if you run to Him.

We all sin, and have regret.  I know I do.  I appreciate David’s repentance prayer to the Father about forgiving him the sins of his youth.  I pray that prayer myself.  Why?  I don’t want to sit alone in silence regretting my past- holding onto sin and allowing it to overwhelm my conscience.  God wants my conscience free!

This is why “it is good” to wait on God-  One, trust Him.  Two, wait for His answer.  Three, be free in Him.  Simple as that.  Simple faith, simple freedom.  I say to myself: “O my soul, hope in the Lord.”  As I ask for forgiveness, and the burden of sin is lifted, my hope is replenished, and I can sing David’s song…. my hope is in you all the day long!

However, I need to release what holds me down- S I N.    Beg God for forgiveness, or sin will hold you down with it’s ugly thumb.  Making you feel as if you were drowning.  You will, unless you cry for help.  

HELP LORD!  I HOPE IN YOU!

YOU ARE MY GOD…

Guide me in Your truth, and teach me.  For You are God my Father, and my hope is in You, all the day long.  Show me your ways Lord, and teach me.  For You are God my Savior, and my hope is in You, all the day long….  

Please Lord,  show us the revelation of steadfast love.  Some definitions are: loyal, faithful, committed, devoted…Relentless, unchanging, unwavering….  This is how Your love is toward us.  It never ends!  It is continuous, never ending, never stopping to rest.  You will never cease loving us.  Your mercies are for us whether we deserve them or not, because of your Steadfast Love.  Forgive me Abba, the sin that I hold to my heart.  I release it to you.  Please remove it from me so that I can be free IN You.  Thank you that You are my portion!  Thank you that You are the Hope that I seek.  You will never let me down.  Show me all the sin in me, even secret sin, Holy Spirit, so that I may see your face, and not fall short because of sin, and be embarrassed because of it.  Do not cast me away because of sin, Abba.  I know your precious Son Jesus died for me.  I thank you Jesus that You took the place of my sin, it was YOUR Steadfast LOVE that never stopped- even to the cross- Your love continued.  Even to Your resurrection, Your love still continues!  You do this because of LOVE.  Thank you.  Let me no longer sit in grief, and sorrows of regret.  But in the Salvation of my God, who has redeemed me of sin via way of the cross.  

Bless the one who hears Your message.  “It is good for them!”  Allow Your Word to minister all the way into their core, deep to deep.  Show them that they do not have to sit in the mire of sin, but be free in the fragrance of Love, compassion, and New Mercies this new morning, and every new morning that we take in as we are alive.

This I pray to you Jesus, in Your precious name.  Amen Jesus!  Thank you.

....SALVATION IS A GIFT....

John 3:16-   For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son.  That whosoever believes in His name shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

God loved

God gave

His Precious Son

His gift

to the

Whosoever BELIEVER

Everlasting Life

We shall not perish- nor die.  We shall never see darkness, but shall always be in LIGHT- IN GOD for Eternity.  

The GIFT was a life; 

God’s Son’s life in exchange for ours.

Purity in exchange for sin.  

Darkness in exchange for light.

Our life was that important to God.

The sacrifice was that great an exchange.

God wanted to become our Father again.

God wants us HOME with Him.

Only one will receive this gift

who is the one?

The one is the believer

the one who believes in His Son

“And this is the way to have Eternal Life

to know the One True God in Jesus Christ

the One who came to earth.”

The one who rejects Life,

condemns himself,

by his own decision-making

to an eternity of

darkness and hell.

Why not Believe

and become a WHOSOEVER?

COME ON,

Join the Family!

God is waiting

and the angels are waiting to rejoice in your decision

of YES!

If this is you, 

Let’s ask God for help.

Father,

Thank you for your Son.

Jesus, thank you for Your sacrifice at the cross.

I just want to say: 

I BELIEVE that you died on the cross

for me,

for my sin

so I could be free

and live in Light

to live with YOU

for eternity.

I thank You.

I thank you that You want me to be part of the Family!!!

Please, Lord, forgive me of all sin, I repent.

Allow your Holy Spirit to minister to me, and bring people to me

to teach me about You.

Thank you for Saving my soul.  Come and live in my heart, Lord Jesus.

This I ask in Jesus name.

Now, go tell someone that you have accepted Jesus into your heart!

Your Father in heaven will be pleased, and our Lord Jesus will confess YOU before Him.
